Description

The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Puget Sound (FISCPS) will be soliciting for an 80K LBS Vertical Test Machine. This acquisition will include equipment test and training for operator and maintenance personnel. Detailed specification will be provided on the solicitation. This contract will be solicited under a Firm Fixed Price Supply type contract. Solicitation will be issued on or about 16 Sep 2005 with a closing date of 22 SEP 2005. This procurement action will be FOB destination Bangor, WA and is conducted under FAR parts 12 and 13. This acquisition is set aside exclusively for small business under NAICS 334519, business size of 500. When issued, the RFQ will be posted on the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) web link www.neco.navy.mil. All offerors wishing to submit an offer are responsible for downloading their own copy of the RFQ from this website and to frequently monitor the site for any amendments to the RFQ. No telephone or fax requests for the RFQ package will be accepted. An email request to edelio.joloya@navy.mil will be accepted in the event an offeror experiences problems downloading the RFQ from the NECO website. Please do not call with questions regarding the posting of the solicitation on NECO until after the posting date, 16 Sep 2005. This office will maintain no bidder list. No paper copies of the RFQ / amendments will be mailed. Failure to respond to the electronically posted RFQ and associated amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of quotes may render your quote nonresponsive and result in rejection of the same. Electronic submission of proposals/quotes is not available at this time.
