Description

Intent to Sole Source: The Department of Veterans Affairs, John D. Dingell Medical Center, 4646 John R. Street, Detroit, MI 48201, intends to sole source to Philips Medical Systems North America, 22100 Bothell Everett Highway MS 665, Bothell, WA 98041-3003 425-487-7000. Philips Medical Systems North America shall provide service maintenance on the RAD Thorvision Chest Units to include x-ray tube and detector drum for the VA Medical Center, Detroit, MI. This proposed contract action is for the system/equipment mentioned above, which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority FAR 6.302-1. All FAR provisions and clauses maybe reviewed and/or obtained from he General Service internet address: http://www.gover/far. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the government not to compete this proposal contract, based upon responses to this notice, is solely with the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. All responses must be submitted no later than September 23, 2005 st 9:00a.m., to the contracting officer indicated above. See numbered note 22. No E-Mail request will be accepted.
