Description

This is a Market Survey to locate potential sources for the supply of about 100 each re-conditioned IFM Amplifier that were manufactured/produced by Rockwell Collins Inc. Division Government Systems (Rockwell), 400 Collins Rd NE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52498-0001. The followings are pertinent information to the Rockwell IFM Amplifier, AM-7189A/A RC, NSN 5895-01-188-3332, Rockwell Part Number 622-6545-003. The IFM Amplifier AM-7189A/ARC provides additional power capability for the airborne SINCGARS communications radio. The Government is seeking any companies that may have purchased Rockwell IFM A mplifier as surplus equipment and is in a position to do necessary repair/overhaul work. The contractor must provide to the Government, as part of their responses to this market survey, copies of Acceptance Test Procedures (ATPs) or Test Procedures that wi ll be utilized to do the necessary repair/overhaul work. As a minimum, the offeror must have in possession about 100 each IFMs Amplifier; can provide a one year warranty period on the re-conditioned IFMs Amplifier from date of delivery; and can deliver 20 units starting 90 days After Receipt of Order (ARO) with continued delivery of 20 per month thereafter until completion. The offeror must also have in possession the necessary Test Equipment (TE) to pre and post test the Rockwell IFMs Amplifier. TE will n ot be provided by the Government as Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) for the re-conditioning effort of the IFMs Amplifier. Companies capable of performing this effort must indicate, by writing to Commander, USA CECOM, ATTN: AMSEL-LC-CCS-N-AC (Norman K arp or Tuan Pham), Fort Monmouth, NJ 07703-5043. Companies must also demonstrate that they have the intimate knowledge of the system and have past experience performing work on similar systems. Companies will be required to warrant that the re-conditioned systems will perform satisfactorily when used for their intended purpose.
