Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; requests for written quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The anticipated award date is 22 September 2005. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. CLIN 0001: Headset part number EM-001-A-M65A-HR-5K with voltage regulator, ANR switch, modified microphone, Hirose connector, 5 k port, LH microphone. Headset must have no cross talk RF interference. All offers must include specifications of the item quot ed including manufacture name and part number. Offerors must include with their quotation: DUNNS number, Cage Code, Tax Identification Number, and completed FAR Clause 52-212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items. All firms or individuals responding must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). This solicitation incorporates the following provisions and clauses: FAR 52.212-1, Instruction to Offerors - Commercial Items (Jan 2005). FAR 52.212-2 Eva luation Commercial Items (Jan 1999) the following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: (i) Technical capability of the item offered to meet the Government needs, (ii) Price, (iii) Past Performance. The relative order of importance of the evaluation factors are in descending order of importance. When combined Technical Capability and Past Performance are approximately equal to price.
