Description

This is a pre-solicitation notice.The 89th Contracting Squadron wishes to procure services for Education Advisor at Andrews Air Force Base, MD. This will be a 100% set-aside for 8(a) small disadvantaged, hubzone, small business. This requirement will result in a firm fixed price contract with a one-year basic contract and one (1) one-year option period. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 611710 with a small business size standard of $6,000,000. This is a request for proposal (RFP) solicitation. There will be no public bid opening. The basis for award will be lowest price technically acceptable; however, the Government reserves the right to award a contract to other than the low offeror. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued electronically on or about 15 Sep 05 on the Federal Business Opportunities web page at http://www.fbo.gov. Paper copies will not be available. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any update/amendments to any and all documents. All prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to be eligible for award. Those unregistered in CCR may do so by calling 1-800-334-3414 or by visiting http://www.ccr.gov/. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract nor does it obligate the Government to pay for any bid/proposal preparation costs.
