Description

Provide virtual pharmacist services for the Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Augusta, Georgia, for the period November 1, 2005 through October 31, 2006, with 4 one-year options to extend. The work will be performed remotely. The prescriptions, including new, refills and renewals, will be verified by the pharmacists and sent electronically to the mail-out facility. Pharmacists must have knowledge of the VA Formulary, The VISTA and CPRS computer systems. The VA will not provide laptops, computers, or any electronic equipment to the virtual pharmacist. This procurement is being conducted under FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 15. The solicitation is being issued as a Request for Proposal. Offerors are required to submit a technical proposal consisting of information reflective of personnel qualifications, licenses, and working knowledge of VA computer systems. The NAICS Code is 621999 and the size standard is $8.5 million. The anticipated issue date is September 16, 2005.
