Description
The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302, with Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC), 10260 Campus Point Drive, San Diego, CA 92121 to provide the following services to support the integration of the Composite Healthcare System (CHCS) II into Composite Healthcare System (CHCS) I over the next four years. Period of performance 1 Oct 05--30 Sep 06 with three one-year options. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals on or before 21 Sep 2005. If a response is not received by 21 Sep 2005 at 1400 hours, Mountain Time Zone, that another service would be more advantageous to the government, than obtaining these services from SAIC, a sole source award will be accomplished to SAIC. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. A formal solicitation will not be issued prior to contract award. ·Monitor overall Composite Healthcare System (CHCS) system performance ·Assist in troubleshooting LAN/WAN network connectivity problems relating to CHCS ·Assist in troubleshooting CHCS hardware/software problems ·Assist in maintaining adequate system security ·Support analysis and installation of new interfaces or products ·Coordinate and collaborate with centrally managed CHCS and Clinical Information Technology Program Office (CITPO) efforts as they relate to the proper functioning of the clinical systems.
