- DESCRIPTION: Sealift Logistics Command, Pacific (SEALOGPAC) intends to procure the services of Fair Banks Morse Engine technical representative. The resulting contract will be a Firm Fixed Price Contract. The Period of Performance is from 18 October 2005 to 30 November 2005. The closing date of the solicitation will be 19 September 2005, unless a later date is specified in the solicitation. This requirement will be procured under FAR Part 12. This requirement will be negotiated on an other than full and open competition basis in accordance with 10 USC 2304(c)(1) with Fairbanks Morse Engine, as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within 7 days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the government. Telephonic requests for the solicitation resulting from this notice will not be accepted. Only written (fax or email) requests will be accepted. The estimated issue date for this solicitation is 25 Mar 2005. The closing date of the solicitation will be 25 Apr 05, unless a later date is specified in the solicitation.
