- Description
- DESC is soliciting proposals for environmental compliance services to perform environmental document updates at DOD Fuel Terminals storing DESC capitalized product worldwide and to perform OPA-90 training at DESC GOCO terminals worldwide. These terminals include DFSP Charleston, Tampa, Verona, Grand Forks, San Pedro, Eielson, Hunter Army Airfield, Fort Hood, Korea, and FISCs Jacksonville, Norfolk, San Diego, Pearl Harbor, Yokosuka, and Okinawa. The contract period is April 1, 2006 through March 31, 2011 (five-year multiyear contracts). DESC anticipates awarding two separate contracts. Please note that the OPA-90 Training portion is being procured under a cascading acquisition. If two or more offers from qualified small business concerns are received, this portion will convert to a 100% small business set-aside. Notwithstanding the possibility of a small business set-aside, the procurement remains unrestricted, and large businesses may offer. Source selection procedures will be used. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which will be considered. The solicitation will be posted to the DESC web site on or about September 14, 2005. A preproposal conference will be held at DESC. The date, and time will be posted to the DESC web site.
