- Notice of Intent to award a Sole Source Procurement. The Government intends to issue a sole source purchase order for the longitudinal outcomes of patients participating in the US Army Institute of Surgical Research (USAISR) study of burn survivors i n accordance with FAR Part 6.302-1 (2)(b)(2). The potential award will go to The Geneva Foundation, 3315 South 23rd Street, Suite 209, Tacoma WA 98405. This requirement is considered sole source given that The Geneva Foundation is the only known company that is capable of providing this service due to the proprietary research data and statistical information collected during Phase I of the study. The US Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity, Contracting Office intends to award a purchase order by oth er than full and open competition in accordance with FAR Subpart 6.302-1 (b)(2). Only one responsible source is known and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirement. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals.
