Description

General Services Administration (GSA), Northwest Arctic Region, intends to establish an Indefinite Delivery Requirements Type contract for Janitorial and Grounds Maintenance services at the Federal Building/US Courthouse/US Post Office, Moscow, Idaho. The solicitation number will be GS-10P-05-LSD-0101. The period of performance is for twelve (12) months with four (4) one-year option periods. This acquisition will be issued In Accordance With (IAW) FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 15, Contracting by Negotiations. In conformance with FAR 19.13, this acquisition is being considered for a HUB Zone set-aside. If your firm is HUB Zone certified and intends to propose on this acquisition, please provide the following information to the Contracting Officer no later than September 12, 2005: 1) SBA certification of HUBZone eligibility 2) Capability statement for firm Based on the responses, the Contracting Officer will make a determination whether or not to make this a HUBZone set-aside. If there is not a reasonable expectation of adequate competition as a HUBZone set-aside, the acquisition will be conducted as a 100% small business set aside. Offers will be evaluated utilizing Best Value Procedures with the evaluation factors set forth in the solicitation. Anticipated start date is 1/1/2006. Solicitation will be available on or about 9/22/2005. Offers will be due on or about 10/13/2005. The NAICS Code applicable to this procurement is 561720 with the small business size of $14M. Current Contractor: Western Building Maintenance, Boise, Idaho. Current contract price: $73,189 per annum (includes an adjustment for vacant space).
