Description

The Bureau of Reclamation is conducting market research to determine if there are adequate combined 8(a), HUBZone small business concerns available to perform janitorial services for Hoover Dam Administrative Offices and Visitor Facilities, Clark County, Nevada. Potential sources must be capable of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and transportation necessary to provide custodial services. Interested sources that can furnish the services are encouraged to submit substantiation to the Bureau of Reclamation, either by mail or fax no later than September 30, 2005. Responses must be in sufficient detail to demonstrate the respondent's ability to meet the requirements stated above, and should include the firm's Dun and Bradstreet number (DUNS) and Tax Identification number (TIN). Firms should identify themselves as either small business, or other than small business, in accordance with the size standard for North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 561720 which is $14 million. This notice is for market research purposes only and is not a Request for Proposal or an announcement of a solicitation. However, the information gathered from this notice will be used to determine which preference program will be used to process the acquisition (e.g., 8(a) set-aside under the Small Business Administration's 8(a) program, combined 8(a) and HUBZone set-aside, total small business set-aside, full and open competition, etc.) should a solicitation becomes available. No preference program determination will be made until the market research has been completed.
