Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and written solicitations will not be issued. This requisition #F2S1005224A200 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-05. This acquisition is 100% set aside for small business, size standard not to exceed 6,000,000.00 dollars; NAICS: 485510. Quotes are to be received by this office NLT 2:00 p.m. CST on 21 September 2005. Quotes can be faxed, or e-mailed to the points of contact listed on this notice. CLIN 0001 Little Rock AFB, Arkansas to Nashville, Tennessee ? Chartered Bus Service, Non-personal services: to provide chartered bus service transportation from Little Rock Air Force Base, Arkansas on the morning of 27 Oct 2005 to Nashville, Tennessee (exact location to be determined). No services are needed once to the destination in Nashville, Tennessee. A return service of charter bus transportation is needed on the morning of 30 Oct 2005 back to little Rock Air Force Base, Arkansas. The approximate number of individuals will be 208 people. Submit two quotes, # 1 quoting on a charter bus with no bathroom and quote # 2 on charter bus with a bathroom. Market research has indicated that the approximate sizes of available charter buses are 55 (56) passengers and a smaller one at 47 Passengers. Please quote with the Best Value in mind for the cost to the Government.
