Description

This acquisition is to provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation and supervision necessary for Full Food Services at U.S. Coast Guard Activities Kodiak, AK. The period of performance is one base year, beginning 1 October 2005 through 30 September 2006, with four one-year options. The government intends to award a firm fixed price contract. Award will be made on the basis of best value to the Government, price and other non-priced factors considered. The full food services will be acquired under the authority of FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13.5, Test Programs for Certain Commercial Items. A guided site visit is planned and will be announced in the solicitation. This solicitation is set aside for small businesses. The NAICS Code is 722310. The size standard is $17.5 million. The solicitation will be issued via the Electronic Posting System at www.eps.gov on or about May 31, 2005. Telephone, written and email requests for the solicitation package will not be accepted. Amendments to the RFP will also be provided on the Internet using the same protocol listed above.
