Description

The Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USUHS), Bethesda, MD intends to acquire on a sole-source basis pursuant to FAR 6.302-1(a) with Johnson Controls, Alexandria, VA to provide the labor, equipment, and materials to install three (3) vav boxes with hot water coils and one (1) vav box for cooling only. The vav boxes will be controlled by the metasys controllers in stand alone mode until network is established in that location, then the contractor will network. Contractor will supply and install booster fan and ductwork per drawings: Connect new ductwork to existing 14 x 12 shaft. New ductwork will be sealed. All ceiling demo will be coordinated with the COTR, prior to removal. Approximate total length of 14 x 12 ductwork is 37 feet. The contractor will then balance four (4)vav boxes and one (1) in line air fan.
