Description
This is phase 2 of a 2-phase project formerly identified as Military Operations on Urban Terrain (MOUT). Phase 2 will complete the overall urban complex, provide a mock landing strip with control tower (bid option) and a live fire breach facility at Range 44. The primary CACTF facilities consist of 14 buildings, paved roads, underground electrical ductbanks for power and communications, power and fiber optic distribution within the site and buildings. All buildings are slab on grade, either metal b uilding or reinforced concrete masonry with hollow core concrete plank roofs. Site grading and drainage is included. This project is available on compact disk and web. Project specification files are Portable Document Format (PDF) files and can be viewe d, navigated, or printed using Adobe Acrobat Reader. The drawing files are in CAL format and can be viewed, navigated, or printed using Source View Reader. Both readers will be contained in the solicitation package. FTP access is through ftp://ebs.lrl.usace.army.mil/ebs/. This anno uncement serves as the advance notice for this project. This requirement will be a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable procurement conducted in accordance with procedures outlined in Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 15.101-2. Proposals will be evaluated on the technical facotrs; Prime Contractor Experience, Past Performance, and Management Plan. The price range for this project is $5,000,000 to $10,000,000. The referenced North American Industry Classification System has a size standard of $28 ,500,000. This Soliciation will be a Request for Proposal, and a fixed-price contract will be awarded as a result of this procurement subject to the availability of funds. This is a Total Hubzone Set-Aside procurement. Period of Performance is 420 days, with an option to accelerate by 60 days. The solicitation will be issued on or about 15 Sept 05 and proposals will be due on or about 25 Oct 05. AMENDMENTS WILL BE AVAILABLE FROM THE ABOVE WEBSITE BY DOWNLOAD ONLY.
