Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services. This requirement will be procured in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 12, through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-5, using simplified acquisition procedures. Solicitation Number NFFK0005000384 is issued as a request for quotation. The NAICS Code is 541620. The NOAA Chesapeake Bay Office of the National Marine Fisheries Services requires the services of a firm to conduct a Marine Debris Survey in Virginia. An RFQ and accompanying Statement of Work entitled Marine Debris Survey in Virginia, dated 9/1/2005, are attached to this posting. The period of performance is approximately 1 year from date of award. Responses must be sent electronically in MS Word format to Shirley.L.Johnson@noaa.gov and in paper no later than 11:00 am on September 12, 2005, to Shirley Johnson, Acquisition Management Division, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, 1305 East West Highway, Suite 7518, Silver Spring, Maryland 20910. FAR clauses 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items (Oct 2003) and 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items (Jan 2005) apply to this acquisition. interested contractors are hereby advised that contractors shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR).
