- The Bureau of Land Management proposes to noncompetitively issue a purchase order with Whitney Equipment Co., 21222 30th Drive SE, Suite 110, Bethell, WA 98021-7019 for 6 additional Teledyne ISCO model 6712 full size portable samplers with associated accessory equipment for pesticide and fungicide sampling in the field usage of BLM seed orchards in various applications (wastewater effluent, stormwater monitoring, CSO monitoring, permit compliance, and pretreatment compliance). The portable sampler shall include or be equal to the following salient characteristics: Pump: compact and portable for field service not to exceed (NTE)18 x 28 inches (Dia. x Ht), lightweight - NTE 31 lbs, rugged ABS plastic shell, 12 volt DC - rechargeable battery, adjustable air purge before and after each sample, and typical line velocity - 3.0ft/s@ 3 FT, 2.9ft/s@ 10 FT, and 2.7ft/s@ 15 FT; Controller: compact and portable for field service - NTE 11x12.5x11 (HxWxD), lightweight - NTE 13 lbs, non-volatile ROM, programmable to 999 samples, and clock accuracy of 1 minute per month (RTC); and Software: Flowlink? software, and automatic rinsing of suction line up to 3 per sample collected. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Shipping location is Salem, OR.
