Description

The synopsis is amended to answer questions from a potential offeror. The questions and answers are as follows: 1. The solicitation specifies a container that is 8 ft. in height. Is this an absolute requirement, or will an 8.5 ft. container work just as well? An 8.5 ft. tall container is acceptable as long as it can be hauled without special permits. All other standard sea transport and lock down conditions must be met. Also, these containers must be compatible with the existing AMRFC trailers. 2. Can the containers be used containers (one or two years old and "once used") or is the requirement that they be completely new, ground up construction? Although "once used" is acceptable, one or two years old is not. 3. Unit 3 has a drawing that indicates a 10 ft. long container, but the verbiage is for a 20 ft. container. Is Unit 3 a 10 ft. container or a 20 ft. container? Unit 3 is a 10 ft. container. 4. Units 1 and 2 are almost identical but the AC and heat requirements are somewhat different. It also appears that the AC and heat requirements for Unit 3 are larger than necessary if Unit 3 is a 10 ft. container. Are the requirements as stated correct? Yes.
