MT PRA GLAC 10(20), Going to the Sun Road Wall Repair, Glacier National Park, Flathead County, Montana. THIS SOLICITATION IS OFFERED FOR FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION ON AN UNRESTRICTED BASIS. THIS WORK CONSISTS OF 0.491 km of rock bolting, drainage, guard walls, retaining walls, and paving. THE PROJECT INCLUDES Construction survey and staking; Contractor quality control and assurance; Sampling and testing; Construction schedules; Structure Evacuation Shoring and Bracing; 450 m Silt fence; 20 m Temporary div channel; 1580 m3 Watering for Dust Control; Remove 5 ea Boulders; Remove 1 ea Pipe Culvert; Remove 56.8 m Masonry wall; Remove 2015 m2 Asphalt pavement; Remove 9 m2 Masonry HW; 380 m3 Excavation; 200 ton Class 2 Riprap; 25 ton Class 4 Riprap; 174.6 m2 Reinforce Concrete Retaining Walls; 40 m Rock Bolts; 480 m2 Rockery Wall; 970 ton Minor Crushed Aggregate; 360 ton Minor Hot Asphalt Concrete; 14 m 1800 mm by 1200 mm Concrete box culvert; 1 ea type G-2 Concrete Inlet top; 140 m2 Geocomposite Sheet Drain system; 35 m3 Lean Concrete backfill; 2 ea Prefab Metal Gates; 12 m3 Concrete stone masonry units; 15.2 m GW type 1 stone masonry; 86.4 m GW type 2 stone masonry; 4 m2 stone masonry Wall; 30 m2 stone masonry Headwall; 123 m2 stone masonry Veneer; 100 m3 Topsoil; 4.94 m2 Signs; 20 each Snowpole holders; 970 m Permanent Pavement Markings; 5 ea Portable changeable message sign; 1 ea Traffic Signal System; 87 days Traffic Safety Supervisor; 4 ea Portable toilets; 96 ea Maint.Toilet; and other smaller items of work. PROJECT IS LOCATED approximately 65 km Northeast of Columbia Falls, Montana. Work shall be completed by October 13, 2006. Estimated PRICE RANGE is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. DOTs Short-Term Lending Program (STLP) offers lines of credit to finance accounts receivable. Maximum line of credit is $750,000 with interest at prime rate, as published daily in the Wall Street Journal, plus 1.75 percent.
