Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. * * * THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION. * * * Funds are not presently available for this acquisition. Award will be made only if funds become available this fiscal year. All offers must be valid through 30 September 2005. Quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation/synopsis reference number F1M2X95195A100 is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-04. This acquisition is solicited unrestricted. The associated NAICS code is 335312 with 1,000 employee size standard. This is a brand name or equal requirement. The manufacturer is Consolidated Devices, Inc. Offerors shall include all costs on the attached price schedule, Attachment 1. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. The agency need is for (1) Multitest Torque Tester/Calibration System, part number is TFC2000-0-03, to include: High and Low Torque Stations, Roller Cabinet and Mechanical Loader, Screwdriver Testing Kit, All Transducers, Adapters & Calibration Equipment (Note: The Low Torque Stations 4 in 1 Transducer, ranges are as follows: 5 in-oz to 400 in-oz, 3/8 Dr, 50 in-lbs, ??Dr, 150 in-lbs, ??Dr, 400 in-lbs, ??Dr. Contractors shall include a completed copy of FAR Clause 52.212-3.
