Description

The purpose of this Amendment to Solicitation No. 123125-05-A-0520 for Cooper City, FL – Main Post Office is to open the solicitation to ALL qualified General Contractors. The Firm must have a minimum of 5 years experience in new construction. Experience includes the offerors history of completing projects in a timely manner providing quality workmanship, timely payment of subcontractors and suppliers, developing a successful partnership with the owner and/or owner’s representative, and safety record as determined by their EMR rating. Experience should also include familiarity with local building, zoning and permit requirements, and restrictions within the geographical area. THE PROPOSAL DUE DATE HAS CHANGED TO 9/20/2005. Previously Prequalified Contractors, see list below, do not need to complete Qualification Statement. Award will be made to the responsible offeror whose proposal contains the combination of Technical and cost-related factors that offer the best overall value to the Postal Service, in accordance with Provision OA-16.
