- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This procurement is not a small business set-aside; any responsible source may submit an offer. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number M67400-02-T-0555 applies and is issued as a Request for Quote. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-45 and Defense Acquisition Circular 91-11. The North American Industry Classification System code is 611420. The business size standard is NTE 5.0 million. The agency need is for: ITEM 0001: QTY: 3 EACH 9800XL Flatbed Scanner Scanner type: Flatbed Resolution: 3200 x 1600 dpi Optical Maximum Scan size: 12"x 17"Bit Depth: 48-bit color, 16-bit Gray ScaleConnectivity: Firewire, SCSI-2, and USB 1.1 Environments PC and MAC Campatible.1 Year Warrent parts and labor ITEM 0002: QTY: 3 EACH Microtek Scan Maker TMA 1600 Tranparent Media The TMA 1600 is an accessory for the ScanMaker 9700XL and 9800XL to scan film tranparencies up to 12"x16". Templates are included for scanning various-sized film, including 35mm slides and filmstrips, 4"x5", 6x4cm, 6x6cm,6x7cm, and 6x9cm. Installation is simple, as the TMA 1600 is plugged into an accessory port on the back of the scanner. No external power supply is required. SOLICITATION PROVISIONS: The following provisions apply to this acquisition: FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items (Oct 2000). Award will be made on the basis of the lowest evaluated price of proposals meeting or exceeding the acceptability standards for non-cost factors.
