Description

The 96th Contracting Squadron, Eglin AFB, FL intends to solicit, negotiate, and award a Firm-Fixed Price requirements contract for the maintenance, inspection, and repair of elevators, escalators, dumbwaiters, and material lifts in support of the 96 Civil Engineering Squadron at Eglin AFB, FL. On-base workload would include providing inspection, maintenance, and repair for approximately fifty (50) lifting products. The different types of lifting products consist of hydraulic elevators, traction elevators, escalators, dumbwaiters, and material lifts. The Government anticipates award of a firm-fixed price requirements type contract with a period of performance 01 Oct 05 through 30 Sep 06 with four (4) one-year option periods for a total performance period of 60 months. This is a Full and Open Competition requirement. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 238290, with a small business standard size of $12.0 million dollars. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by this agency. This will be a paperless acquisition. Paper copies of the solicitation will not be issued but the solicitation will be available on the Federal Business Opportunity website (http://www.fedbizopps.gov) without further notice on or about 8 August 2005. No response to this notice is necessary and no source list will be maintained. The estimated proposal due date is 29 August 2005. Prospective contractors must be registered in the DoD Central Contractor registration (CCR) database prior to award of a Government contract. Offerors are further advised that failure to register in the CCR database will render your firm ineligible for award. Registration requires applicants to have a DUNS number. Recommend registering immediately in order to be eligible for timely award. NOTE: THIS NOTICE MAY HAVE POSTED ON WWW.FEDBIZOPPS.GOV ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (18-JUL-2005).
