Description

This is a notice of intent to award a Sole Source contract for service under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 to iConect, LLC, Inc., 800 S. Pacific Coast Hwy, Suite 8-503, Redondo Beach, CA 90277. The sole source requirement is for iConect web-based litigation support software maintenance for fixes, updates and upgrades. This requirement is for the maintenance of 1,200 iConect V.4 client software licenses, two iConect web server licenses, two iView Imaging software licenses, and one SQL server license. The iConect software was selected last year through a competitive acquisition. This software integrates with LiveNote, CaseMap, and Sanction which are other legal software products used by the Division of Enforcement (ENF). The software is also integrated with the SEC Testimony Tracking System. The above named vendor is believed to be the only source for this service. The services are being procured under FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This notice of intent is NOT a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for competitive quotes. Interested contractors may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing by e-mail to Louis Gilden no later than 5:00PM EST on August 29, 2005, contact information is as follows: GildenL@sec.gov. Capabilities / qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination not to compete this proposed procurement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
