Description
W15QKN-05-T-0160 FedBizOpps notice Date: 2005-08-23 Description: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation notice for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; Quotation is being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is an RFQ and the solicitation number is W15QKN- 05-T-0160. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-26. The U.S. Army TACOM-Picatinny intends to award sole source purchase order to Opsens, Inc. IAW FAR6.302-1(a)(2) for CLIN 0001, 56 Fiber Optic Sensors Part Number OTP-MET. See Note Number 22. The US Army has a need for Fiber Optic Sensor to measure Radio Frequency (RF) induced currents across the bridge wires for the E3 Tests (HERO and EMRO) during Electromagnetic Radiation Hazard testing of Army weapons systems. The Optic Sensor shall be compatible with the existing MetriCor 1420 Fiberoptic EMC Test System. The Fiber optic sensor when fabricated with a 6 ohms bridge wire will measure a minimum current of 4 milliamps and fabricated with a 24 ohms bridge wire will measure a minimum current of 2 milliamps. WARRANTY : Normal Commercial Warranty PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: Period of performance shall be 60 days after award of contract. Delivery shall be made within 60 days from the date of award to Paul Ng, US Army, RDECOM-ARDEC, Electromagnetic Environmental Effects Team, Building 3208, Picatinny Arsenal, NJ 07806 The F.O.B. point and acceptance shall be the destination. The estimated weight is less than 200 pounds. Items shall be packed and shipped in accordance with commercial requirements. Government Procurement Quality Assurance actions will be accomplished by the Governments authorized Quality Assurance Representative at destination. The provision at FAR 52.252-1, Solicitation Provisions Incorporated by Reference applies to this acquisition. This solicitation incorporates one or more solicitation provisions by reference, with the same force and effect as if they were given in full text. Upon request, the Contracting Officer will make their full text available. The offeror is cautioned that the listed provisions may include blocks that must be completed by the offeror and submitted with its quotation or offer. In lieu of submitting the full text of those provisions, the offeror may identify the provision by paragraph identifier and provide the appropriate information with its quotation or offer.
