Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. A quote is being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number F1B3F35153A2 is hereby issued as a Request for Quote. Bid must be valid through 30 Sep 05l Funds are not presently available but the requirement is listed in the planning document. HELMET, STRUCTURIAL, FIRE FIGHTING: Brand Name or Equal. Requirement: FOB Destination Altus AFB OK. For the following:. 17 ea red and 43 ea black (60 total);Cairns 990 Intruder; HELMETS. Specs: Three layers of overlaying ballistic C-grade Kevlar/fiberglass material across the dome; non-corroding high temperature, glass filled polymer face shield/goggles hardware; Ultra high temperature edge trim will not melt or chip; nomex chin strap with one hand quick release buckle and postman slide; Nomex ear flap for protection; SCBA interface from headband adjustment which includes the fit of any SCBA mask; a three position rear rachet height adjustment; fit all head sizes bertween 6 7/8 and 8 ? inches. The incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-05. This acquisition is restricted to Small Business Offers Only under North American Industry Classification System code 339113. This requirement is for Helments, Structural Firefighting. Submit signed and dated quotations on company letter head or quotation form. Quotations may be faxed to (580) 481-5138. Offers will be evaluated on Price only. ALL OFFERS MUST BE CENTRAL CONTRACTOR REGISTERED (CCR). Information concerning CCR regarding registration requirement may be viewed via the internet at http://www.ccr2000.com or by calling the registration center at 1-888-227-2423. Offerors shall register on-line . Include the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items with their offer. Any offeror not completing the on-line certification shall not be elegible for award.
