Description

Notice of Set-Aside for Small Business concerns "See Note 1". The Togus VA Medical Center intends to award a contract to "Provide Service/Maintenance to the UPS (uninterrupted power supply)Systems and Batteries in Bldg. 209, 200 & 248". Work includes all tools, labor, and parts necessary to provide the service/maintenance to the UPS System & Batteries. This includes two (2) scheduled Preventitive Maintenance visits. Also, provide any repair service which may consist of calibration, cleaning, oiling, adjusting, replacing parts, and maintaining the equipment including all intervening calls necessary between regular services and calibrations. The contractor will provide all software and hardware updates upon release at no additional charge throughout the life of the contract. The contractor shall maintain the equipment in accordance with the Conformance Standards Section. The contractor shall also ensure that the equipment functions in conformance with the latest published edition of NFPA-99, OSHA, and the original equipment manufactures performance standards and specifications. This will be a firm-fixed price contract. NAICS Code 335999 applies with a small business size standard of 500 employees. Estimated cost is between $25,000 and $100,000. This solicitation is subject to availability of funds.
