Description

The Federal Bureau of Prisons - Federal Correctional Institution, Milan, Michigan intends to make a single award for the provision of Custodial Maintenance Services for the inmate population at the Federal Correctional Institution, Milan, Michigan. The successful contractor shall provide classroom instruction for Custodial Maintenance classes leading to a certificate. The award will be made to the responsible contractor who submits the most advantageous quote to the Government. The estimated quantities for fiscal year 06 are estimated at 260 sessions per year. One (1) session equals six (4) hours in duration. The number of hours per week shall not exceed thirty (30) hours. The Contracting Officer anticipates awarding a firm-fixed price, indefinite-delivery, requirements? type contract. The contract period shall consist of a 12-month base period . The solicitation will be available on or about August 24, 2005 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration?s Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The website provides all downloading instructions to obtain a copy of the solicitation. All future information concerning the acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through the website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the site to ensure you have the most up-to-date information about the acquisition. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is on or about September 7, 2005. The North American Industry Classification System code for this solicitation is 561720. The solicitation is set aside for Small Business.
