Description

This contract contains construction of two (2) earthen dikes, two (2) water control structures, and three (3) rock fords to restore wetlands in Allendale and Hampton County, South Carolina. Major items of work include: approx. 1,540 cu yds of earth fill for compaction; approx. 2.0 acres of seeding, sprigging and mulching for temporary cover; approx. 131 tons of rock fill for bedding of fords; furnishing and installing two (2) 24 inch risers and (2) 18 inch barrel pipes; and approx 56 tons of riprap for fords. The performance time is 39 calendar days (including mobilization). The estimated price is in the range of $25,000 to $100,000. This solicitation is subject to full and open competition. The NAICS code for this procurement is 237990. This solicitation will be available for viewing and/or downloading from website, www.fedbizzops.gov, on or about August 23, 2005. Interested parties are invited to attend a site showing on Tuesday, August 30, 2005, at 9:00 a.m. at the Hampton County Field Office, 1002 Elm Street East, Suite B, Hampton, South Carolina. After a brief meeting, a tour of the site will be held.
