Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This solicitation and incorporated provisions/clauses are those in effect through FAC 2005-04. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Purchase request number F2K3AQ5180A100 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This acquisition is 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The applicable North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code is 332999. The small business size standard is 500 employees. No paper copies will be issued. No telephone requests will be honored. Prospective offerors must register on the FedBizops site in order to receive notification to changes in the solicitation. CLIN 0001: Portable Body Bunker: 2 each; Three-sided configuration measuring 62”H x 55”W x 30”D; walls must be capable of withstanding multiple strikes from 7.62 ammunition; single-wall armor rated to 3-ball system; three 4” x 4” gun ports capable of holding M240 machine gun and M249 automatic rifle; four retractable, fully castering rubber wheels; hand-operated hydraulic lift; integral armored head guard.
