The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD), on behalf of Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC) desires information that may lead to the acquisition and qualification of a family of 120mm mortar ammunition for enhancing the AC-130 Gunship Lethality and Survivability. Responses must include a product description with performance parameters and a statement regarding current availability, reference customers (to confirm COTS/NDI status of the product, if applicable), product production history (volume, if applicable), summary of prior testing, test reports, summary of logistic and maintenance requirements and an estimated cost for the price of test articles and production units. This synopsis does not constitute an Invitation for Bid or Request for Proposals, and is not to be construed as a commitment by the gov! ernment to issue an order or otherwise pay for the information solicited.
