Description

VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System intends to negotiate a sole source procurement with Evergreen Design, 311 Boston Street, Guilford CT 06437 to provide the creation of a functioning Care Management Information System (CMIS) to VISN 4. This system will permit the VISN4 Care Coordinators/Case Managers to quickly assess the care environment of their patients. This system will allow network administrators to gain a broad fiscal overview of care costs at each of the VISN facilities. Other vendors interested in providing this service must have an understanding of VA integration server functionality, VHA security provisions, be proficient with specific design elements, i.e. digital assest operations and network design and an understanding of SQL and transact SQL database programming language and Web-based development tools. Vendor shall have knowledge of Intersystems Cache SQL application and experience using it to extract data from CPRS/VistA/Healthevet. This procurement is under the authority of FAR 6.302, businesses who feel they may be capable of providing these services shall submit all applicable information to VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System by August 24, 2005 at 10:00am. The information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The determination based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of VA.
