- MODIFICATION TO SOLICITATION #05-S240-0282 - CHANGE IN DUE DATE!!!THIS IS A COMPETITIVE SMALL BUSINESS SET ASIDE ACQUISITION. The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) is soliciting proposals to provide Technical Assistance for Domestic Violence Assessment and Intervention for the Healthy Start Program. For the purposes of this contract domestic violence, intimate partner abuse and battering refers to the physical, emotional, sexual, and psychological abuse performed by one person against another who are involved in or have an intimate or romantic relationship. The purpose of this acquisition is to develop and provide technical assistance to enhance the capacity of primary care and perinatal care providers at Healthy Start sites and community-based intervention programs to assess perinatal clients for current or past exposure to intimate partner violence and to effectively convey information about risk reduction and intervention services that are culturally relevant and specific to their target population. Technical assistance training will be implemented in nine (9) Healthy Start Program sites overseen by the Maternal and Child Health Bureau?s Division of Healthy Start and Perinatal Services (DHSPS). The period of performance will be for 12 months. A complete RFQ package is available electronically, and is available for downloading from this site on. The due date for questions is August 9 at 12:00 p.m. EST. THE DUE DATE FOR PROPOSALS HAS CHANGED FROM August 26, 2005 at 12:00 p.m. EST. TO SEPTEMBER 2, 2005 @ 12:00 p.m. (EST) TELEPHONE REQUEST WILL NOT BE HONORED.
