Description: The USDA, Deschutes National Forest intends to procure services for post sale whip-cutting (site prep) and precommercial thinning on 451 acres in 8 individual units on the Bend Fort Rock Ranger District. Individual units will require treatment of slash by lopping and/or bucking of cut material. Treatment shall be performed on all acres contained within individual unit boundaries. The period of performance will be September 19, 2005 through June 30, 2006. Solicitation AG-04GG-S-05-0011 will be uploaded into FedBizOpps (issued) August 22, 2005 with quotes due August 31, 2005.
