Description

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) has a requirement for a Stewardship Contracting north of Nevada City, California. The purpose of this contract is to provide services for fuels reduction and promote forest health by reducing the fuels load. The proposed of this action is Pre-Commercial Thinning (Mechanical Mastication) 62 Acres and Commercial Thinning 25 Acres. This includes furnishing all technical expertise, labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, operating supplies, and incidentals necessary to complete the work required. Note: All merchantable material to be removed will be purchased from the Government and paid for at the total offer value. The period of performance is negotiable and it is a multi-year contract. This requirement is 100% set-aside for small businesses under NAICS 115310. A pre-proposal site tour has been scheduled for for Aug. 31, 2005 at 11:00 AM. Participants meet at: Intersection of - Rock Creek Road & North Bloomfield Road - Nevada City, Ca. Offerors intending to attend the site visit tour should contact Folsom BLM office at (916) 985-4474, at least 48 hours before the scheduled site visit and advise of the firms name.
