- Description
- Furnish and deliver one 10 inch self propelled cutterhead dredge. The dredge shall be a commercially available design currently in production, and shall be land transportable on a tractor trailer rig. The contractor will be responsible for deliverin g the dredge to Punta Ruca Naval Base, El Salvador, and will furnish spare parts and training. This is a commercial items acquisition issued under Subpart 13.5 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation. The request for proposals (RFP) will be available only via download from the Mobile Districts Electronic Bid Solicitations page at http://www.sam.usa ce.army.mil/ct/ebs/asp/AdvertisedSolicitations.asp. No paper copies will be issued, unless it is determined to be in the Governments best interest. The RFP will be posted in .pdf format which requires Adobe Acrobat Reader . This software is distributed free of charge by Adobe Systems, Inc. http://www.adobe.com/ It is the responsibility of interested parties to register, download the RFP, and to check for amendments, which will be posted to the same site if issued. The RFP will be available for download on or about 19 Aug 2005. This procurement is 100% set aside f or small business, NAICS Code 336611. The size standard for this code is 1000 or fewer employees.
