Description
AIRBORNE LASER (ABL) AND JOINT UNMANNED COMBAT AIR SYSTEM (JUCAS) REQUIREMENTS ANALYSIS AND EXERCISE SUPPORT: The Air Combat Command Contracting Squadron at Langley AFB, VA is tasked with procuring non-personal services to provide requirements analysis, exercise planning and support, documentation support, and expert advice to Headquarters Air Combat Command (ACC), Directorate of Requirements, Defense Acquisition Programs Division (HQ ACC/DR-DAP), for the ABL and JUCAS programs. A Sources Sought notice for this requirement was originally posted on 13 Dec 2004 under solicitation number FA4890-05-R-0147. Based on responses from that Sources Sought notice, this requirement is being solicited as a total set-aside to small businesses under the auspice of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 19. The period of performance will cover a base period of approximately 10 months from an estimated award date on or about 1 May 2005, and four, one-year options beginning 1 March 2006. The estimated performance start date is on or about 16 May 2005. This acquisition will be issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP) on or about 14 March 2005. Interested parties should review the draft SOW and provide any comments via e-mail to this office. Small businesses that are certified and qualified as a small business concern in NAICS 541614 are encouraged to respond to the RFP when posted.
