Description

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS), Region 5, is requesting proposals to acquire services to convert microfilm and paper hard copy to Digital Format. The Service plans on a contract to cover a Base year and Four option years. The ultimate award will be based on a negotiated procurement as outlined in Part 15 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR). Any interested party can request a solicitation package from the address below. Interested parties that submit a proposal must address, in depth, the following evaluation factors to be considered for award. The evaluation factors are outlined in the solicitation package and are as follows: (1) Experience in handling Federal documents in a secure manner. (35%); (2) Experience working with Microfilm to Digital Format Conversion. (20%); (3) Past performance on contracts with both government agencies and private industry in terms of cost control, quality of work, and compliance with performance schedules (20%). Cost per unit of conversion - Microfilm to Digital and Hard Copy to Digital (25%). Qualifications of firms will be rated by applying a numeric rating system to the evaluation factors listed above. The NAICS is 518210; the size standard is 21 Million. This procurement is set-aside for small business concerns. All responsible sources, based on a thorough past performance review, shall be considered. Issue date will be o/a August 16, 2005. All requests must be submitted in writing to the address above.
