Description

IMAX Pre-commercial Thinning The contractor shall provide any and all labor, equipment, supplies, services, permits, and licenses necessary to perform 783 acres of pre-commercial tree thinning and slash treatment on the Mogollon Rim Ranger District of the Coconino National Forest. The contractor must be registered with the Department of Labor under the Migrant and Seasonal Workers Protection Act. This statement of work consists of completing the tasks/subtasks in section 5 to the performance requirements of section 7. LOCATION DESCRIPTION. The contract contains ten thinning units on the Mogollon Rim Ranger District in portions of the following Township, Range, and Sections: Township Range Sections 14N 9E 8, 9, 13, 14, 16, 17, 23 & 24 ACCESSIBILITY. The project area my be reached by traveling south from Flagstaff, Arizona on Forest Highway 3 (Lake Mary Road) to the junction of Forest Road (FR) 81, then southwest on FR 81 to the contract area (units 5 ?10). Units 1 through 4 may be reached by traveling south on Forest Highway 3 to the junction of FR 196, then west on FR 196 to the contract area. See Vicinity Map and Cutting Unit Maps. The contractor may use FR 81, 81E, 196, 9368M, 9397K, 122A, 9367L, 9366M, 9386M and 9354F that run through or near the project area for access
