- The Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) is soliciting sources for a brand name or equal product to the Kongsberg Mesotech Maritime MS 1000 Scanning Sonar System. The FBI intends to purchase a quantity of four sonar systems. The minimum technical requirements are: the capability to operate multiple scanning sonar heads simultaneously; target measuring tools, to include, tape measure, target height, target perimeter, target area and annotation capability; track plotting module capability; USB compatible; splash proof carrying case and connectors; internal compass; 3,000 meter depth rating; self contained and fully integrated GPS system; fully compatible with Kongsberg Simrad Seahawk television system equipment and cables; factory training and manuals.
