- This is a combined Synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, in conjunction with FAR 13.5, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; request for quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The invitation for bid document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-05. This is a 100% small business set-aside. The North American Industrial Classification System is ?423620?. The small business size is 500 employees. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Austin Automation Center (AAC), Austin, Texas (AAC) intends to procure the following item: One (1) Harrison PRO-950-EX High Performance Analog Broadcast Console with drop through cutout. The requirements for the console are: 1. Steel frame construction. 2. ?drop through? footprint 3. Rack mountable power supplies with spare power supply. 4. Spare parts kit including extender boards. 5. Interface for remote 8 fader controller. 6. 12 mono-mic line input modules with 4 mix minus bus assigns and a clean feed output. 7. 12 stereo line input modules with 4 mix minus bus assigns and a clean feed output. 8. 4 stereo audio group modules with 4 mono aux sends. 9. 4 dedicated mix minus bus with level control and talkback. 10. 1 headphone jack for cr monitoring. 11. 1 talkback microphone with level control. 12. 1 built in multi frequency oscillator. 13. 1 dual stereo program module for two studios. 14. 1 control room monitor module with pfl to main monitor switch. 15. 1 dual studio monitor module. 16. 1 returns module with 4 stereo line level returns and 2 stereo program assigns. 17. 4 frame expansion slots for future input modules. 18. 16 led level meters for the 4 stereo groups, 4 mono aux groups, and 4 mix minus groups. 19. 6 vu meters for the 2 stereo program buses, stereo control room source. 20. 1 clock time of day with smpte reference lock. 21. 1 digital up timer. 22. Factory warranty, set of service and installation manuals, factory training for operation and maintenance. The price proposal shall include delivery price and 30 day delivery services. The contractor?s proposal shall also include warranty information. Delivery Address is: VA Medical Center, #1 Jefferson Barracks Dr., Building 48, St. Louis, MO 63125. Responses shall be in writing and can be mailed to the attention of the contracting officer, emailed to the link in the solicitation, or faxed to 512/326-6028. The following FAR clauses apply to this solicitation: A) FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors, Commercial Items with the addendums: 1) FAR 52.216-1 Type of Contract - ?The Government contemplates award of a firm fixed price single award contract resulting from this solicitation?; B) Representations and certifications are now required to be filled out online at http://orca.bpn.gov. CCR Requirement - Company must be registered on Central Contractor Registration (CCR) before an award could be made to them. If company is not registered in CCR, they may do so by going to the CCR web site at http://www.ccr.gov , C) 52.211-6 Brand Name or Equal.; and E) FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Order-Commercial Items. Offers must be submitted within Five (5) days from the publication of this notice and shall be addressed to the attention of the Contracting Officer.
