Description
This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities(FBO) page located at http://www.eps.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line(NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. NUWC Division Newport intends to place a Sole Source procurement with Instruments, Inc of San Diego, CA, for a total of twenty seven (27) Upgraded Inboard Power Supply Steady-State Printed Wiring Boards. Instruments Inc. designed and developed the required boards under a previously issued Navy contract. Instruments, Inc. is the only known responsible source that can meet the Government?s requirements of size, fit and function, within the current time constraints. The following is a partial list of requirements: The Upgraded Inboard Power Supply Steady-State Printed Wiring Boards must be capable of providing a nominal output voltage of 336 volts DC at a nominal current of 1 amp (3 amps maximum for short durations). Additionally, the Upgraded Inboard Power Supply Steady-State Printed Wiring Boards must be capable of meeting the following Environmental Qualification Test (EQT) requirements: Operating Temperature (+4 degrees Celsius to +50 degrees Celsius), Storage Temperature (-40 degrees Celsius to +70 degrees Celsius), Vibration (MIL-STD-167-1), Shock (MIL-STD-901), Humidity (0 to 95% relative humidity, +4 degrees Celsius to +50 degrees Celsius), DC Magnetic Field (MIL-STD-1399, section 070), and Electromagnetic Radiation (MIL-STD-461). Our department no longer issues solicitations or amendments in paper form. Instead, they may be accessed at our web site http://www.npt.nuwc.navy.mil/contract/. We also provide electronic access in our Bid Room.
