Description

This is a pre-solicitation notice for a contractor to provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, tools and transporation necessary for a complete repainting of the exterior of the Taft Home, located within the boundaries of the William Howard Taft National Historic Site, 2038 Auburn Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio. Work shall include, but is not limited to, preparation, minor repairs, spot priming and a finish coat to match the existing paint. A full description of all work required will be identified in the Request for Quotation. The NAICS code for this project is 238320. The small business size standard is $12 million. The estimated price range of this projectd is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. Project performance time is sixty (60) days after Notice to Proceed. This project will be solicited and awarded in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Project, Public Law 100-656. Accordingly, this project is open to both small and large businesses. If a site visit is required, please contact Mr. E. Ray Henderson @ (513) 684-3262. The Request for Quotation, with specifications, will be posted to websites: http://www.fedbixopps.gov and http://ideasec.nbc.gov on or about August 19, 2005.
