Description

Work consists of, but is not limited to the following: The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, supervision, equipment, and perform all operations necessary to construct an approximately 3500 square foot addition to building 90073, to include a pre-engineered rigid frame steel structure on a reinforced concrete foundation with exterior walls of concrete masonry veneer on metal stud framing, standing seam metal roof, interior finishes, mechanical work, electrical work, sitework, landscape, and irrigation. This is a ?Straddle Bid,? which may be funded with fiscal year 2005 or fiscal year 2006 funds. If funds are not made available by 30 Sep 2005, contract award will be made in the first fiscal year quarter of 2006. Considering this is a straddle bid, the bid acceptance period will be 100 days. This acquisition is set aside for competition restricted to HUBZone certified small business concerns. Estimated magnitude for this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The solicitation will be available ONLY via the Internet at the following address: http://www.eps.gov. When the solicitation is posted, it can be viewed by going to the EPS web site, EPS for Vendors, USAF Offices, Air Force Special Operations Command-Locations, 16th Contracting Squadron. No hard copies of drawings will be provided.
