Description

This acquistion is amended from a HUBZONE COMPETITIVE SET-ASIDE, to a NON-COMPETITIVE 8A SET-ASIDE. This acquisition is a HUBZONE SET-ASIDE, and is restricted to participation by Hub Zone firms only. Award may be made without Negotiations taking place. Provide all plant, labor, material, equipment, supplies, and coordination necessary to replace the HVAC system for Bldg 796 and 797, Robins AFB GA.Work includes, but is not limited to, demolition and repair/replacement of the existing air handler system. Install VAV air conditioning system to Bldg 796 and 797 as well as providing condesate piping system as show on drawings and specifications. Perform abatement for suspected asbestos containing duct insulation that is being demolished It is the intention of the government to award a Firm Fixed Price contract as a result of competitive Offers received from qualified Hub Zone firms responding to the Solicitation. The magnitude of the Construction project is between 500,000 and $1 Million . The estimated date for release of the Solicitation under the Governments Request for Proposal (RFP) is on or about 02 Aug 05, with an estimated due date for receipt of Proposals of 17 Aug 05. The Official Copy of the Solicitation will not be provided on Compact Disk (CD-ROM) or paper, and can only be accessed on the WEB Site: http://fedbizopps.gov/. The estimated period of performance is 525 calendar days from the date the Notice to Proceed is acknowledged. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 238220, and $12 million annual receipts. The Government is not responsible for notifying potential Offerors of changes to the Solicitation. All changes, Amendments, and other pertinent information will be posted on the Web Site above for viewing. The closing date and time for submission of offers will be contained within the solicitation package. Award cannot be made unless funds are made available. Funds may or may not be made available
