Description

This synopsis is for the preparation of an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity, Firm Fixed Price Contract. Request for proposals is unrestricted. There will be a base year with four annual option periods. The work consists of furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials required to remove a minimum of 85 percent of the rubber and paint build-up. Apply white, black, yellow, and red pavement marking lines within the designated work areas on runway or taxiway airfield surfaces. The rubber and paint removal is to be completed without damage to the pavement surface, joints, and crack seals, or any other government property located on the runway or taxiways. Location is 60 miles south east of Kansas City Missouri, at Whiteman Air Force Base. All qualifying and responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the agency. The project magnitude is estimated between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 237310. The solicitation will be issued electronically on the Federal Business Opportunities (Fed Biz Ops) web page; paper copies will not be made available. Note: Any prospective contractor must be registered in the Central Contractors Registration (CCR) in order to be eligible for award. Note: Although we are providing a link for the Interested Vendors List (IVL), please note the listing will not be used by the Contracting office to notify vendors of Amendments to this solicitation.
