Description

The US Army Acquisition Center, Natick Contracting Division, has a requirement for an incinerator expansion at Building 8 located at the Soldier System Center, Kansas Street, Natick, Massachusetts. Contractor shall supply all labor, material and equi pment necessary to include but not limited to demolish the existing generator with its concrete pad and barbed wire fence and dispose of off site. Build an addition of concrete masonary unit and steel roof to building 8, rig an incinerator including start up and complete job. The building size is 12 feet 4 inches wide times 25 feet 4 inches long times 14 feet high with 312 square feet of built up area. The Government anticipates awarding a single firm fixed price contract. The magnitude of effort is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. This procurement is set aside one hundred per cent for hub zone contractors. Davis Bacon wage determination for Middlesex County, Massachusetts applies. The NAICS code 236220 is applicable. A site visit will be held on 23 Augu st 2005. Drawings will be available at the site visit.
