The RFQ requests a quote for a duct and does not mention a honeycomb stage or a screen stage. The drawings are provided for the stages. The duct configuration will allow 9 screen stages and 1 honeycomb stage. Are the stages required, and if so, what quantity? The stages are required. One (1) 1257303-1 Honeycomb Stage (each honeycomb stage consists of: 1 ea. 1257303-5 Honeycomb Support Frame, and 1 ea. Honeycomb Panel) Six (6) 1257303-3 Screen Stages (each screen stage consists of: 4 ea. 1257303-11 Screen Keepers, 1 ea. 1257303-12 Screen, 2 ea. 1257303-15 Screen Frame Sides, and 2 ea. 1257303-17 Screen Frame Ends) 2. The duct is made of 6061 aluminum, the honeycomb in the honeycomb stage is .003-inch thick 5052 aluminum and the -5 honeycomb support frame is called out as 17-4 stainless steel with a heat treat of H1150. Can aluminum be used for the support frame? No, the 1257303-5 Honeycomb Support Frame must be manufactured from 17-4 ph, heat treated to H1150. 3. The assembly drawing (1257300) parts list requires qty. 3 of Item 1257302-5 (handle), but the assembly picture shows that qty. 5 are required. Which is correct? The 1257302-5 Handles are not required. The due date for responses is notextended. Documents related to this procurement will be available over the Internet.
