Description
Please do NOT call or send an email regarding this synopsis. Stay tuned to this web site for the complete solicitation (RFQ). Then submit a quote per the instructions in the RFQ if you have date and space availability. SCOPE OF REQUIREMENT: The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) requires guest rooms, meeting rooms, and hotel services of four qualified hotels for OCC?s District Staff Conferences. The possible locations and estimated maximum attendance at each District Conference is as follows: Northeast District in Boston or Philadelphia (350) Southern District in Atlanta or Miami (620) Central District in Chicago, Milwaukee or Minneapolis (460) Western District in Phoenix, Scottsdale or San Diego (360). Each District Staff Conference will be held Monday through Thursday in mid-2006. The estimated maximum number of guest rooms per night ranges from 335 to 600, depending on the District. The program may consist of one reception; one luncheon; a general session on three days; and up to ten concurrent sessions on one day. MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS: The hotel must 1) be compliant with the Hotel and Motel Fire Safety Act of 1990, 15 U.S.C. 2201 et seq, (Public Law 101-391) and hold a FEMA certification number; 2) be compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act, 42 U.S.C. Section 12101 et seq. (ADA); and 3) have one of the following ratings: First class or higher per the Official Hotel Guide; three diamonds or higher per AAA; three crowns or higher per the OAG Business Travel Planner. HOW TO ACQUIRE A COPY OF THE SOLICITATIONS: The OCC anticipates issuing the solicitations at this web site in August 2005. Each solicitation document will contain the details of the District Staff Conference requirements, the instructions for submitting a quote, and how the quotes will be evaluated. Each solicitation will be numbered as follows: RFQ CC-05-HQ-Q-0042 Northeast District RFQ CC-05-HQ-Q-0043 Southern District RFQ CC-05-HQ-Q-0044 Central District RFQ CC-05-HQ-Q-0045 Western District. This is NOT a small business set-aside. It is a full and open competition using simplified acquisition procedures under the Commercial Item Test Program (FAR Subpart 13.5). All responsible hotels may submit a quote that will be considered by the OCC. OCC anticipates awarding the contracts in September/October 2005. *****
